Beautiful Cities & Beutiful Apartment

The city of Angers is a leading diversified industrial center, is more specifically targeted to the computer and automotive. It also has food-processing business related to wine production region (wines of Anjou) and that of the famous Cointreau liqueur. Angers is also an academic center and administration.

The historic capital of Anjou, famous for its "sweet life", Angers is among the most beautiful cities of France. It has several historical monuments like the Cathedral of St. Maurice, with two arrows (twelfth to thirteenth centuries), the Hospital of St. John (Plantagenet Gothic style), that was built in the twelfth century, Henry II of England and which now houses the Museum Jean-Lurcat Tapestry and contemporary, the castle of King René (early thirteenth century), with moats and towers (which is preserved the oldest tapestry in France, the Apocalypse of Angers, 1373 -1380), or the old abbey church Toussaint (Galerie David d'Angers). The old town also retains many mansions, stately homes and ancient buildings: the house Pinched, Renaissance-style residence beautifully preserved, now housing a museum (Japanese prints, Chinese ceramics and bronzes, Egyptian, etc..) Barrault the house (hotel from the late fifteenth century, where is located the Museum of Fine Arts in the city), the Hotel Valentin (Museum of Natural History), etc.

Former Celtic city, Angers was conquered by the Romans who are one of the most important cities of Roman Gaul. In the ninth century, it became the capital of the county of Anjou, which becomes intermingled with its history. During the French Revolution, it is one of the few large Western cities to choose the French camp of the Republicans against the monarchists.
