Energy efficient central heating broiler
Open versus closed boiler
1. Open boilers (or atmospheric boilers)
- Delete oxygen from the air of the room where the boiler is located. A good airflow is important for good efficiency and safety.
- Air inlet must be lower in space and at least 150 cm ².
2. Closed boilers (boilers wall socket)
- Have no chimney, a pipe through the wall or the roof is sufficient.
- Using a fan to both the flue gas is blown away as the combustion air intake.
- Because of the exact amount of the input air to get a higher efficiency boilers.
- Safer, no danger of insufficient supply of air.
- Boiler can be anywhere (closet, full air space ,...) provided wall duct.
Condensing boilers
- Delete a high efficiency thanks to the recovery of heat from the combustion gases.
- Previously only applicable to larger generators, now even on small models.
- Sesering well on ecological field by low NOx and CO emissions.
